EPF: Temporary Closure Of Bintulu Office Due To Floods

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 (Bernama) -- The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is temporarily closing its Bintulu office starting today until further notice following power shutdown in the building as a safety precaution due to rising floodwaters in the area.

In a statement today, EPF said it is taking proactive measures, including the closure of any affected offices, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its members and staff given the floods currently occurring in Bintulu and other areas in Sarawak.

The EPF is working closely with local authorities and service providers to assess the situation and will provide updates as soon as possible. Members who have made prior appointments to the EPF Bintulu office are advised to reschedule their visits to a later date when the flood situation eases.

For urgent transactions, members are advised to transact online via i-Akaun for selected services.

For more information on EPF services and transactions, members can contact the EPF Contact Centre and Service Advisors at 03-8922 6000 or refer to the EPF website at www.kwsp.gov.my.
