LBS Bina Secures RM400 Mln In Second Tranche Of Sustainability Sukuk Wakalah

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 24 (Bernama) -- LBS Bina Group Bhd (LBGB) has issued its second tranche of Sustainability Sukuk Wakalah, amounting to RM400 million in nominal value, under its Sukuk Wakalah Programme.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, LBGB said the unsecured second tranche was issued with a seven-year tenor, maturing on Jan 23, 2032, and carries a periodic distribution rate of 4.81 per cent per annum.

“The proceeds from the second tranche will be used by LBGB in accordance with the purposes outlined in LBGB's Sustainability Financing Framework.

“This will also follow the guidelines, frameworks, or standards subject to amendments that govern the issuance of the ASEAN Social SRI Sukuk Wakalah, as stated by the company,” it said.

MARC Ratings Bhd, on Nov 29, 2024, affirmed an AA-IS rating with a stable outlook on the Sukuk Wakalah Programme.

HSBC Amanah Malaysia Bhd, Maybank Investment Bank Bhd, and RHB Investment Bank Bhd are the joint lead managers for the issuance.
