FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Thursday.

At the close, January 2025, February 2025 and March 2025 fell 10.5 points each to 1,571.0, 1,574.5, and 1,556.5 respectively while June 2025 slipped 10.0 points to 1,565.0.

Turnover increased to 11,416 lots from 8,264 lots yesterday, while open interest widened to 49,011 contracts from 44,763 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 10.60 points, or 0.66 per cent, to 1,577.20 from yesterday’s close of 1,587.80.
