FBM KLCI Futures Rise In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were higher in early trading today.

At 9.16 am, the January 2025 contract rose 6.0 points to 1,629.0, February 2025 added 5.5 points to 1,633.0, March 2025 gained 2.5 points to 1,614.0, and June 2025 increased 3.5 points to 1,622.0.

Turnover reached 649 lots, with open interest at 37,497 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI climbed 4.69 points to 1,630.28, compared to Monday's close of 1,625.47, after 35 minutes of trading.
