FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, mirroring losses in the underlying cash market.  

At the close, January 2025 shed seven points to 1,623.50, February 2025 slipped 7.5 points to 1,627.50, March 2025 declined 6.5 points to 1,611.50, and June 2025 eased five points to 1,618.50.  

Turnover decreased to 4,721 lots from 5,715 lots on Friday, while open interest eased to 41,435 contracts from 42,706 previously.  

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined 3.99 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 1,625.47 compared with Friday’s close of 1,629.46.
