Southern Cable Secures RM172.57 Mln Contract For Cable Supply In East Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- Southern Cable Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Southern Cable Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a RM172.57 million contract to supply and deliver cables and conductors in East Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Southern Cable said the contract will run for 24 months, from Dec 20, 2024, to Dec 19, 2026.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group over the duration of the contract,” it said.
