Shahril Mokhtar Appointed Chairman Of Pestech Technology, Yeoh Jit Shiong Named Acting CEO
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- Pestech International Bhd has announced the appointment of Datuk Seri Dr Shahril Mokhtar as chairman of its subsidiary, Pestech Technology Sdn Bhd (PTECH), effective immediately.
In a statement today, the integrated electrical power technology company highlighted Shahril's extensive leadership experience, spanning over 25 years across banking, transportation, infrastructure development, and corporate governance.
The company also announced that the current PTECH chief executive officer, Paismanathan Govindasamy, has been relieved of all executive powers and authority in dealing related to operational matters and stakeholder engagement for PTECH, CRSE Sdn Bhd, and other Pestech companies Pestech, effective immediately.
“In conjunction with this change, Ir Yeoh Jit Shiong has been appointed as the acting CEO of PTECH with immediate effect," the statement said.
Pestech noted that these strategic appointments signify a critical step toward strengthening leadership and governance of PTECH, underscoring its commitment to operational excellence and efficient project execution.
“This leadership transition reflects the board’s dedication to aligning the company’s structure with its long-term objectives,” it added.
