MNRB Appoints Rudy Rodzila As Interim President And Group CEO

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 22 (Bernama) -- MNRB Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin as its interim president and group chief executive officer (CEO), effective Nov 23, 2024.

The group said Rudy, who currently serves as president and CEO of Takaful Ikhlas General Bhd, assumes the role following the completion of Zaharudin Daud’s tenure as MNRB president and group CEO.

“With over 30 years of experience spanning the financial, banking, and insurance industries, Datuk Rudy will work closely with MNRB’s leadership team to continue driving the group’s strategic initiatives,” it said in a statement.

Rudy is also a certified member of the Association of International Accountants (United Kingdom) and holds a Master of Management from the International Islamic University Malaysia.

MNRB said his appointment underscores the group’s commitment to fostering capable leadership as it continues to pursue its mission of excellence in the financial and takaful sectors.

Chairman Datuk Johar Che Mat said Rudy’s extensive experience in the takaful and insurance sectors, coupled with his broad perspectives, would enable him to guide MNRB through this transitional period.

“We are also grateful to Zaharudin for his dedication and contributions, which also aided in positioning MNRB on a stronger foundation for the future,” he added.
