FBM KLCI Futures End In Negative Territory

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in sync with the performance of the underlying cash market. 

Spot month October 2024 slid 10.5 points to 1,604.5, November 2024 shaved 15.0 points to 1,603.5, while December 2024 and March 2025 declined 15.5 points to 1,622.0 and 1,595.5, respectively.

Turnover slipped to 13,356 lots from 30,138 lots, while open interest fell to 55,705 contracts from 76,939 contracts yesterday.            

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined 13.20 points, or 0.82 per cent, to 1,601.88 from yesterday’s close of 1,615.08.
