FBM KLCI Futures Open Firmer

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened firmer in early trade today.

At 9.18 am, the October 2024 contract was 8.5 points stronger at 1,614.5, November 2024 jumped 9.5 points to 1,619.5, December 2024 climbed 8.5 points to 1,622.5, and March 2025 advanced 9.5 points to 1,612.0.

Turnover fell to 4,734 lots, with open interest at 65,932 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI was 5.57 points firmer at 1,615.90 after 42 minutes of trading.
