FBM KLCI Futures Ends Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Wednesday. 

Spot month October 2024 and November 2024 eased half-a-point to 1,642.0 and 1,645.5, respectively. 

The December 2024 contract fell two points to 1,648.0 and March 2025 edged down 2.5 points to 1,636.0.

Turnover decreased to 3,655 lots from 5,156 yesterday, while open interest shrank to 45,027 contracts from 46,297 previously.            

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 1.01 points to end at its intraday low of 1,641.53 from Tuesday’s close of 1,642.54.
