FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures were higher in early trade today, tracking the underlying cash market.

At 9.30 am, the October 2024 contract increased 3.0 points to 1,645.5, November 2024 added 3.5 points to 1,649.5, December 2024 gained 2.0 points to 1,652.0, and March 2025 improved 1.5 points to 1,640.0.

Turnover reached 633 lots, with open interest at 42,586 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI was 1.42 points firmer at 1,643.96 after 50 minutes of trading.
