FBM KLCI Futures Ends Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly lower on Tuesday.

Spot months October 2024 and November 2024 shed one point each to 1,642.5 and 1,646.0, respectively.

Meanwhile, December 2024 was unchanged at 1,650.0 and March 2025 eased half-a-point to 1,638.5.

Turnover increased to 5,156 lots from 3,893 yesterday, while open interest rose to 46,297 contracts from 44,211 previously.            

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 3.14 points, or 0.19 per cent, to 1,642.54 from Monday's close of 1,645.68.
