Heitech Padu Secures Niise Contract Worth RM892.19 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- HeiTech Padu Bhd has secured a contract worth RM892.19 million for the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

HeiTech Padu said the contract is for studying, proposing, designing, developing, supplying, delivering, installing, testing, integrating, migrating and synchronising data, commissioning and implementing change management and training for the NIISe project.

“The contract is for a period of 60 months commencing from Oct 18, 2024, to Oct 17, 2029,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Friday.

The company said it has to submit to the government of Malaysia a performance bond amounting to RM8.92 million not exceeding 30 days from the award’s date of acknowledgement of receipt.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024, and and onwards until the completion of the contract,” it said.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, HeiTech Padu said the trading of its shares will resume with effect from 9 am on Monday, Oct 21, 2024.
