FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Tuesday.

Spot month October 2024 and November 2024 gained 4.5 points each to 1,636.5 and 1,640.0 respectively, while December 2024 rose 3.5 points to 1,643.0 and March 2025 added 5.0 points to 1,632.0.

Turnover fell to 5,478 lots from 7,451 on Monday, while open interest slid to 46,663 contracts from 49,018 previously.  

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI edged up 0.33 of a point, or 0.02 per cent, to 1,635.62 from yesterday’s close.
