FBM KLCI Futures Firmer In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures were higher in early trade today, tracking the underlying cash market.

At 9.19 am, the October 2024 and November 2024 contracts gained by 9.0 points each to 1,636.5 and 1,639.5, respectively, while December 2024 and March 2025 added by 7.0 points to 1,641.5 and 1,629.5, respectively. 

Turnover stood at 1,090 lots while open interest amounted to 43,754 contracts.

The FBM KLCI climbed by 3.27 points to 1,633.24 after 39 minutes of trading.
