FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.

Spot month October 2024 and November 2024 shed 10.0 points each to 1,627.5 and 1,630.5, respectively, while December 2024 declined 8.5 points to 1,634.5 and March 2025 fell 9.5 points to 1,622.5.

Turnover rose to 8,538 lots from 6,827 on Thursday, while open interest increased to 49,905 contracts from 47,874 previously.  

The FBM KLCI declined 11.58 points from Thursday’s close, settling at 1,629.97.
