TM managing director and group chief executive Officer Amar Huzaimi Md Deris said the collaboration also ensures seamless and high-quality digital experiences for the company’s customers.

“This collaboration is in line with TM’s strategic roadmap towards becoming a digital powerhouse by 2030, aligning with our commitment to developing a converged ecosystem for digital transformation across all sectors and strengthening Malaysia’s competitiveness as a key digital hub for Southeast Asia,” he said.

The agreement was signed by TM global executive vice-president Khairul Liza Ibrahim and Radian Arc chief executive officer David Cook.

TM Edge Gaming is a holistic edge gaming ecosystem that leverages TM’s edge facility deployment closer to the end user to provide a high-quality digital experience with low latency, in line with the evolution of 5G technology and beyond.

This agreement will feature Radian Arc’s GPU Edge technology bundled with low-latency SHAKS Gamepad controllers developed by Radian Arc’s South Korean-based partner, AKSys Co, enabling a seamless gaming experience and boosting TM Global’s capability to offer high-quality, real-time applications.

Amar said Edge Gaming enables gaming companies to process data locally and reduce the distance data needs to travel, reduces public internet congestion problems, greater loyalty and delivers a better quality of experience to the user.
