FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today in line with the performance of the underlying cash market. 

Spot month September 2024 jumped 17 points to 1,647.5, October 2024 was 15 points higher at 1,650.0, December 2024 advanced 14.5 points to 1,654.0, while March 2025 rose by 16.5 points to 1,641.0.

Turnover narrowed to 7,082 lots from 7,945 yesterday, while open interest fell to 52,194 contracts from Thursday’s 54,227. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI jumped 13.84 points, or 0.85 per cent, to 1,652.15 from yesterday’s close of 1,638.31.
