KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Monday, tracking losses in the underlying cash market.

At 9.10 am, the June 2026 contract fell three points to 1,665.0, the July 2026 eased two points to 1,667.5, September 2026 slipped six points to 1,644.0 and December 2026 dropped 3.5 points to 1,649.5.

Turnover stood at 7,379 lots, while open interest totalled 48,823 contracts.

At 9.44 am, the FBM KLCI was 9.78 points lower at 1,657.96 from Friday’s close of 1,667.74.
