516 Flood Evacuees In Relief Centres In Perak, Selangor Tonight

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- There are a total of 516 flood evacuees at relief centres in Perak and Selangor tonight.

In SELANGOR, the number of evacuees at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) RTB Bukit Changgang dropped to 406 people from 194 families tonight from 522 people from 233 families last night, while in PERAK, there are 110 people from 31 families.

The highest number of evacuees are at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Matang Gelugor in Larut, Matang and Selama district, with 59 people from 15 families from Kampung Matang Pasir and Kampung Matang Gelugor, while 51 people from 16 families from Kampung Ulu Geruntum are at Dewan Bandaran Gopeng.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department has forecasted rain in five districts Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar and Batang Padang tonight.
