Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain Expected In Five States Until 11 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) --  The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in five states until 11 pm today.

In a statement, it said adverse weather conditions are expected to affect Kelantan (Kota Bharu, Bachok, Machang and Pasir Puteh); Terengganu (Kemaman); and Pahang (Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran and Kuantan) in Peninsular Malaysia.

In Sarawak, a similar warning has been issued for Limbang (Lawas), while in Sabah, adverse weather conditions are expected in the Interior (Nabawan and Keningau), the West Coast (Ranau) as well as Sandakan (Tongod, Telupid, Beluran and Sandakan).
