PH Remains Strong, Built On Sincerity And Mutual Respect - Teo

KULAI, June 13 (Bernama) -- Pakatan Harapan (PH) is able to sustain strong and lasting political cooperation, as it is founded on sincerity, mutual respect an understanding of the differences among its component parties, said Johor DAP chairman Teo Nie Ching.

The Deputy Communications Minister said despite PKR, DAP and Amanah having different backgrounds and ideologies, all parties within the coalition share the same goal of building a better nation for the people.

“Many have asked why PKR, DAP and Amanah are able to work together for so long, while other political coalitions often split and change their positions.

“The answer is simple, sincerity. Cooperation in PH is built on mutual respect and an understanding of the differences among component parties,” she said at the Bukit Batu state constituency PKR Election Machinery launch ceremony here tonight, which was also attended by PKR vice-president Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Teo, who is also Kulai Member of Parliament, congratulated incumbent Bukit Batu assemblyman Arthur Chiong Sen Sern, who has once again been named the PH candidate for the upcoming Johor state election.

She said the PH machinery would give its full commitment and cooperation to ensure Arthur’s victory.

The 16th Johor state election will be held on July 11, with June 27 set as nomination day and early voting scheduled for July 7.
