Bernama Sports Writer Clinches Bronze At 17th MPL MY Media Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- Bernama sports writer Muhammad Zulkarnain Mohd Azman clinched the bronze award in the written media category at the 17th Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL MY) Media Awards here today.

Zulkarnain was recognised for his article ‘E-sukan Platform Bentuk Kemahiran Insaniah’ (Esports as a Platform to Shape Soft Skills) during a ceremony at Stadium Juara, Bukit Kiara.

This marks Bernama’s first award at the tournament, which is among Malaysia’s leading esports leagues.

"I really did not expect to win this award. This is my second year submitting an entry, and I am thrilled to have finally secured third place.

"I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone, including my editors, colleagues, and family, who contributed to this success," he told Bernama when met at the venue.

The awards recognise the contributions of media practitioners and content creators to the league’s success and public engagement.
