ISTANBUL, June 2 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck off the coast of southern Italy late Monday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported.
The quake, recorded at a depth of 247 kilometres (km), hit 38 km away from Cosenza in the Calabria region.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage following the tremor.
