Selangor Police Confirms Senior CID Officer Dies After Falling From Building In Shah Alam

SHAH ALAM, May 20 (Bernama) -- Selangor Police have confirmed the death of a senior officer from its Criminal Investigation Department (CID), whose body was found after he was believed to have fallen from a building in Vista Alam, Section 14 here, early today.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said that the Shah Alam District Police Headquarters (IPD) Control Centre received information regarding the incident at about 3.07 am.

“The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the case was classified as sudden death (SDR) pending the results of the post-mortem,” he said in a statement today.

Shazeli said the Selangor Police also expressed condolences to the victim's family and asked the public not to spread any speculation that could interfere with the investigation.
