Pyxis Group, Principia Consulting Form Joint Venture For Commodity, Energy Markets 

KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 (Bernama) -- Pyxis Group and Principia Consulting announced a strategic joint venture to jointly serve global commodity and energy markets.

The partnership combines Pyxis Group’s expertise in business transformation, mergers and acquisitions, organisational change management and artificial intelligence (AI) with Principia Consulting’s capabilities in commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) system implementation.

According to Pyxis Group in a statement, the joint venture will provide integrated advisory and implementation services covering operating model design, CTRM deployment, middle-office development and AI-enabled trade lifecycle automation.

Pyxis Group Partner, Matt Flanagan said the venture is intended to address growing complexity in commodity and energy markets through a combined advisory and technology implementation offering.

Meanwhile, Principia Consulting Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Doug Gyani said the partnership would expand the firms’ reach across sectors and geographies.

Pyxis Group said the collaboration strengthens its capabilities in the midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, particularly through Principia’s expertise in platforms including Aspect, Openlink Endur, RightAngle and Allegro.

For Principia Consulting, the partnership expands its ability to support clients through Pyxis Group’s advisory services involving acquisitions, divestitures and operational transformation.

The joint venture combines Principia’s presence in Dubai, Singapore and India with Pyxis Group’s North American and European market coverage to support clients across major commodity trading hubs globally.
