KLCI Futures Open Higher But Turn Lower Subsequently

KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened higher but turned lower in early trading subsequently on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today.

At 10.02 am, the May 2026 contract declined 1.50 points to 1,741.0, the June 2026 contract shed 1.0 point to 1,740.50, the September 2026 contract eased 2.0 points to 1,721.0, while the December 2026 contract remained unchanged at 1,724.50.

Turnover stood at 1,718 lots, with open interest at 32,260 contracts.

At 10.10 am, the FBM KLCI slipped 4.90 points to 1,735.32 from last Friday’s close of 1,740.22.
