MADINAH, May 17 (Bernama-SPA) -- Saudi Arabia’s General Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has intensified awareness and guidance efforts to educate pilgrims and visitors on the etiquette of visiting the Prophet’s Mosque and the proper manner of greeting the Prophet and his two companions.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the efforts are being carried out through an integrated system of guidance tools and enriching content presented in several languages, enhancing the religious and intellectual awareness of visitors during the Hajj season.
The awareness programmes include delivering direct guidance messages within the Prophet’s Mosque and its courtyards, in addition to utilising digital screens, awareness publications, and multilingual digital content.
The programmes aim to educate pilgrims on the rulings and etiquette related to the visit and to promote conduct that reflects reverence for the holy site while preserving tranquility and order within the Prophet’s Mosque, it added.
The presidency affirmed its commitment to delivering awareness messages through accessible means that take into account the diversity of pilgrims’ nationalities and languages as part of efforts to enrich their spiritual experience and promote the moderate message of the Two Holy Mosques.
