A subsidiary of state-owned oil company Pertamina, Pertamina NRE (New & Renewable Energy), is exploring collaboration in Bangladesh’s renewable energy sector, including solar PV development and opportunities for operation and maintenance (O&M) cooperation.

 

2. INDONESIA STRENGTHENS AI WEATHER COOPERATION WITH JAPAN -- ANTARA

Indonesian delegation is preparing to take part in the 2nd WNI Weather & Climate Forecast Conference (WCFC) 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, aimed at strengthening cross-border collaboration in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for Asia’s weather and climate systems.

Efforts are underway to transform the PyinOoLwin district in Mandalay into an agricultural hub driven by coffee production. Milk, dairy and coffee production will be prioritised to meet local demand and visiting tourists.
