RM11,070 Allocated To SK Kuala Paya For Sports Development

SEGAMAT, May 13 (Bernama) -- A total of RM11,070 has been allocated to support sports development at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kuala Paya here, particularly to meet its equipment needs.

Segamat MP R. Yuneswaran said the equipment includes high jump and hurdle sets, a white canopy, spike shoes and walkie-talkies.

“Hopefully this contribution will help the school further strengthen its sports activities and nurture more active, healthy and competitive pupils,” he said in a Facebook post today.

The Deputy National Unity Minister also praised the creative approach taken by SK Kuala Paya in organising its annual sports event, with each sports house adopting themes based on selected company brands.

“Annual sports events like this are not merely a platform for competition, but also an avenue to build self-confidence, discipline, teamwork and a spirit of unity from a young age,” he said.
