SHAH ALAM, May 12 (Bernama) -- A man whose body was found in a drain at Taman Sentosa, Klang, this afternoon is believed to have died of a heart attack.

Klang Selatan district police chief ACP Lim Jit Huey said police received a report on the discovery of the local man’s body at 1.28 pm.

“At 2.05 pm, an ambulance from Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang arrived at the scene and confirmed the man had died there.

“Initial investigations at the scene found that the man, believed to be in his 50s, was an Air Selangor contractor carrying out work in the nearby area,” he said in a statement today.

Lim said initial post-mortem findings indicate the cause of death is believed to be ischaemic heart disease due to coronary artery atherosclerosis, adding that the case has been classified as sudden death.

He also advised the public against making speculations that could cause public concern, urging them to allow the authorities room to carry out investigations.
