Bitcoin Surpasses US$80,000 For First Time Since Jan 31 – Trading Data

MOSCOW, May 4 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- The price of Bitcoin rose 2.7 per cent over the past 24 hours, exceeding the US$80,000 mark for the first time since January 31, Sputnik/RIA Novosti reported, citing trading data.

On Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Bitcoin was up 2.7 per cent over the past 24 hours as of 3.20 GMT, reaching $80,200. This is the first time the price has exceeded $80,000 since January 31.
