UMNO's 80th Year Anniversary Celebration To Feature Diverse Lineup Of Programmes - Ahmad Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 -- The 80th UMNO anniversary celebrations, which begin tomorrow and run until May 5 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), mark a deeply significant milestone in the party's journey, said Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

As such, the UMNO President invited the public to attend and enliven the celebration, which features a diverse lineup of programmes covering education, entrepreneurship, and youth development.

"This is a space for us to reflect on the journey we have traveled while charting our steps forward," he said in a statement on his Facebook page today.

Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, noted that key highlights include the 2026 Bumiputera Education Congress, the UMNO 80 Years Convention, education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) exhibitions, as well as academic forums and discourse on current affairs.

In addition, the celebration will feature various activities involving the Youth, Wanita, and Puteri wings, alongside programmes focused on the participation of entrepreneurs and the younger generation.
