KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) --The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today in line with the cash market.

The April 2026 contract eased 3.0 points to 1,714.50, May 2026 slid 2.5 points to 1,716.50, June 2026 shed 2.0 points to 1,716.00 and September 2026 receded 1.5 points to 1,695.00.

Turnover improved to 12,359 lots from 11,523 lots on Thursday, while open interest increased to 45,733 contracts from 44,801 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 1.36 point, or 0.08 per cent, to 1,720.34 from Thursday’s close of 1,721.70.
