Malaysia A Unifier Of Nations In The Spirit Of Peace - Syeikh Muhammad Al-Hasan

KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s role on the international stage continues to gain recognition as the vice-president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan Al-Diddu Al-Shanqiti described the country as playing a unifying role among nations and peoples in the spirit of peace.

The matter was conveyed by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan during a meeting with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Prime Minister’s Office today.

“We discussed many issues during the meeting, including war and oppression, as well as violations of human rights and national sovereignty.

“Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan also noted that Malaysia today is not only caring for its own people, but has become a nation that unites various countries and communities in the spirit of peace,” Anwar posted on Facebook.

The meeting was part of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan’s programme during his visit to Malaysia.
