MOSCOW, April 22 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- Eleven people, including two children, were injured after the entrance of an apartment building collapsed in the city of Syzran in Russia's Samara Region following a Ukrainian drone attack, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Wednesday, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
Earlier in the day, the ministry said that part of an apartment building entrance had collapsed in Syzran. Rescuers pulled four people, including a child, from the rubble. Two more people, including a child, are believed to be trapped.
Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said the partial collapse was caused by a Ukrainian drone attack.
"According to preliminary information, 11 people, including two children, were injured as a result of the collapse of the apartment building entrance in Syzran," the statement read.
All are receiving necessary medical treatment, it added.
