KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) is enhancing the delivery of innovative solutions and customer convenience by expanding its mobile services for electric vehicle (EV) charging and windscreen replacement.
Allianz General chief executive officer Sean Wang said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to meeting evolving customer needs while prioritising convenience.
“The mobile EV charging and windscreen replacement services are clear examples of how we are addressing customer needs through practical, long-term solutions,” he said in a statement today.
Wang said that starting this year, Allianz General is expanding its mobile EV charging service to key areas outside the Klang Valley, including Penang, Kuantan and Johor Bahru.
According to him, the service provides 15-minute on-site fast charging, offering a driving range of more than 50km to the nearest charging facility, while ensuring peace of mind for drivers in unexpected situations.
Wang said the mobile EV charging service is the first of its kind in the industry and forms part of Allianz General’s EV Shield coverage.
“We are proud to be at the forefront of innovation in the industry, delivering services that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.
“At the same time, we remain committed to supporting a sustainable transition by helping customers overcome the challenges of using EVs through innovative services,” he said.
He added that Allianz General’s mobile windscreen replacement service offers the convenience of replacing or repairing damaged windscreens at a location of the customer’s choice, without the need for complicated documentation.
Customers only need to call the 1800-22-5542 hotline, and an Allianz-branded service vehicle will be dispatched to their preferred location within an hour.
“The service also uses genuine replacement windscreens and comes with a lifetime warranty,” he said, adding that it has assisted hundreds of cases nationwide each year and received positive feedback from customers.
Allianz General said that through both services, it will continue its commitment to innovation and customer-centricity, while setting new benchmarks for service excellence.
