KUALA LUMPUR, April 20 (Bernama) -- The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host seven mega events to connect Hong Kong's creative industries with the Chinese Mainland and global markets, reinforcing the city’s role as a regional creative hub.

The events include Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle and Fashion InStyle (April 27 to 30); the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong (held concurrently at AsiaWorld-Expo); and the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference (April 27 to 29).

The Gifts & Premium Fair will feature the Hall of Fine Designs, showcasing leading global design brands, alongside the debut of the Shanxi Pavilion and an expanded Zhejiang Pavilion led by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province.

In addition, HKTDC in a statement said Smart Design Global will present its shortlisted entries, leveraging the fair as a platform to promote original Hong Kong designs internationally.

Building on last year’s success with novel home solutions for the silver market, Home InStyle will continue to showcase innovative materials in houseware, including the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion, funded by the HKSAR Government's Innovation and Technology Commission.

Fashion InStyle marks the return of NEXT@Fashion InStyle, a premier HKTDC spotlight zone sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) with the Philippines as this year’s Featured Partner. The zone will bring together about 60 global exhibitors to showcase next-generation materials.

The Printing & Packaging Fair will highlight smart packaging and new materials alongside sustainable solutions, while DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong will focus on premium printing and packaging for luxury products.

The events will also include seminars, buyer forums, product launches and fashion shows covering market trends, creative design, smart industry, the silver economy and sustainability.
