Florida Governor Signs Legislation To Name Palm Beach Airport For Trump

WASHINGTON, March 31 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed legislation to name the airport of Palm Beach after US President Donald Trump, the state's House of Representatives said.

The legislation will take effect on July 1, 2026, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.

The move will also be coordinated with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida is located not far from the airport in Palm Beach.

Earlier, the highway between the airport and Mar-a-Lago was named after Trump. The US Institute of Peace and the John F Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts were also renamed after Trump.
