KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- A total of 36,141 citizens aged 18 and above between Feb 1 and 28 were automatically registered as new voters under the Supplementary Electoral Roll for February 2026 (DPT BLN2/2026).

Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said the DPT BLN2/2026, which was verified on March 17 and gazetted today, also comprises 14,129 registered voters who changed their constituencies, as well as 2,322 voters who changed their voting category or status.

“The DPT BLN2/2026 is open for review for 30 days from March 18 until April 16,” he said in a statement.

He said the EC calls on citizens aged 18 and above within the period, as well as registered voters who have applied to change their constituencies or voter category or status, to check their names in the roll.

He said if their names are not listed in the DPT BLN2/2026, they may submit claims by completing Form C via the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting the relevant State Election Office.

Khairul Shahril said that registered voters in a constituency who wish to object to the inclusion of voters who have transferred into their constituency may submit Form D through the same application or at the respective State Election Office.

“Forms C and D can also be downloaded from the State Election Offices portal at http://ppn.spr.gov.my and must be submitted to the respective State Election Director together with the objection fee within the review period,” he said.

The EC has also provided five methods for checking the DPT BLN2/2026, namely via the EC’s official portal at https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my, the State Election Offices portal at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my, the MySPR Semak mobile application, as well as the hotline at 03-8892 7218.
