Consulate-General In Jeddah Opens Operations Room To Monitor Latest Developments Involving Malaysians In Saudi Arabia

KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 (Bernama) -- The Consulate-General of Malaysia (KJM) in Jeddah on Monday opened an Operations Room following the conflict affecting the Middle East region.

KJM said the Operations Room was set up to closely monitor the latest developments involving affected Malaysians in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, particularly those stranded due to flight cancellations.

The Operations Room began operating at 9 am, it said in a statement.

Malaysians requiring consular assistance may contact the KJM Jeddah Operations Room at +966 126 727 740 or +966 573 099 589, which operates 24 hours a day, or email mwjeddah@kln.gov.my  

KJM in Jeddah also advised Malaysians in Saudi Arabia to remain alert to current developments and stay calm.
