50 PPR Pantai Ria Residents Receive Aid Under 'Sekeluarga Sekampit Beras' Campaign

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 (Bernama) -- A total of 50 recipients comprising asnaf (tithe recipients), single mothers and orphans from the Pantai Ria People’s Housing Programme (PPR) here received assistance today under the Sinar Ramadan: Sekeluarga Sekampit Beras Campaign 2026.

In a Facebook post, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, who is also the Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai, said the assistance included a sack of rice, kitchen essentials as well as RM100 in cash.

Also present at the campaign, held at Surau Al-Hijrah, PPR Pantai Ria, were Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) president Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Samsudin and Badan Kebajikan Islam Telekom Malaysia (BAKIT) secretary Mas Ali.

Meanwhile, ABIM said in a Facebook post that the campaign aims to ensure asnaf families are able to break fast in peace.

A total of 300 families are targeted to receive assistance through the campaign in conjunction with Ramadan this year.
