ISLAMABAD, Feb 6 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- At least ten people were killed and more than 80 others injured in a blast at a mosque in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, on Friday, Xinhua reported, citing police officials.
The explosion occurred in a mosque situated in the Shehzad Town area of Islamabad, according to the police officials in the area.
Police and rescue teams have been dispatched to the site, said the police, adding that a state of emergency has been imposed in all the major hospitals of the capital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
