Turtles Ready To Give Red Giants A Hard Time

KUALA NERUS, Jan 31 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) acting head coach Tengku Hazman Raja Hassan has told his men to make life difficult for Selangor when the two teams clash in their Super League match at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium here tomorrow.

The 49-year-old coach, however, admitted that it won't be easy as the Red Giants are enjoying a good run under the guidance of former national coach Kim Pan Gon.

"I have the utmost respect for Pan Gon as he not only has extensive experience, but he also used to coach the Harimau Malaya team.

"But that doesn't mean we should give them (Selangor) an easy ride when they come to our home ground. We will fight till the end for all three points on our home turf,” Tengku Hazman said.

He was also quick to remind his men to avoid making the same mistakes that saw the Turtles lose 5-2 to Selangor FC in the first-round match of the Super League at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Stadium last August.

He also challenged his men to avenge that defeat and collect all three points so that they can meet their target of a top-four finish come the end of the season.

Tengku Hazman, who revealed that he will unleash his new signing, import striker Garvane Kastaneer, in tomorrow's match, also reminded his men to stay disciplined and focus on their own strengths, instead of dwelling too much on the opposition.
