Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Graces Raya Fashion Show

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, graced the ‘Ariani Warna Lebaran’ fashion show at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre here today.

Her Royal Highness arrived at 3.15 pm and was received by Ariani chief executive officer Datin Seri Farah Haryani.

Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin spent about two hours witnessing the fashion showcase, which featured more than 100 hijab and apparel designs by the fashion house in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri in March.

This year’s festive collection by Ariani offers 300,000 outfits, including baju kurung, kebaya, kebarung, kaftans and robes, featuring motifs inspired by natural and floral elements, and contemporary abstract prints.

The show also highlighted trending colours for the year, such as Strawberry Matcha, Teal and Lime Green, adapted to current tastes while retaining Ariani’s classic identity.

Ariani introduced its new brand ambassador actor Bront Palarae during the fashion show, while the runway was brought to life by appearances from celebrities such as Mira Filzah, Qasrina Karim and Elisya Sandha, and social media influencers Cik Epal, Ammar Azman and Madnor.

Also announced at the event was a special collaboration for the second consecutive year between Ariani and UK-based fashion retailer Liberty London.

Popular local artistes, including Ruffedge, Azlina Aziz, Liza Aziz, Datuk M Nasir and Amelina, also performed to liven up the show.
