Teenage Girl Injured After Fall From Gelugor Condo

GEORGE TOWN, Jan 26 (Bernama) -- A 15-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after falling from the 10th floor of a condominium in Gelugor here yesterday.

Northeast District deputy police chief Supt Lee Swee Sake said the victim is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Penang Hospital.

Police received information from the public regarding the incident at 1.15 pm, he said in a statement today.

“Police investigations found that the local victim fell from a bedroom on the 10th floor and was discovered lying on the seventh floor of the condominium.

“So far, police have not found any criminal elements related to the incident, and further investigations are ongoing, including recording the victim’s statement after she regains consciousness,” he said.
