FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2026 was 24.5 points higher at 1,741.5, February 2025 rose 23.0 points to 1,744.5, March 2026 advanced 22.5 points to 1,724.0, while June 2026 increased 25 points to 1,727.5.

Turnover surged to 27,140 lots from 6,233 lots last Friday, while open interest jumped to 62,341 contracts from 41,444 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI soared 24.08 points or 1.40 per cent to 1,744.07 from last Friday’s close of 1,719.99.
