Tang Jie-Ee Wei Storm Into Indonesia Masters Final

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 24 (Bernama) -- National top mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei advanced to the Indonesia Masters final after beating China's world number two pair Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin in Jakarta today.

The world champions scored a convincing 21-17, 21-12 win in 33 minutes in the semi-finals at Istora Senayan.

Awaiting the world number four pairing in the final is the winner of the other semi-final between Indonesia's Jafar Hidayatullah-Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen-Alexandra Boje.

In the women's singles, Malaysia's challenge ended when K. Letshanaa lost to Thailand's Pitchamon Opatniputh 15-21, 17-21 in the semi-finals.
