Russia-Malaysia Direct Flights To Launch In 2026

MOSCOW, Jan 17 (Bernama-TASS) --  Direct flights from Russia to Malaysia will be launched this year, Russian Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin said in an interview with Russian News Agency, TASS.

"I won't say yet which routes, but in 2026, yes, there will be (the launch of flights)," he said.

Malaysian Ambassador to Russia Datuk Cheong Loon Lai told TASS earlier that Malaysia expected to launch direct air service with Russia in the first half of 2026, with negotiations in the final stages.
